America's Next Top Model?

Mommy let me play dress up this week while she got out all of my winter clothes. I don't know if you noticed my shoes, but here's a close-up. I put them on all by myself. My way cool friend Emma is letting me use her winter coat this year. It's really pretty isn't it? Check out the back!

This is me saying "cheese". I think Mommy needs to find a new word to get me to say because whenever I say cheese, I always end up looking a little goofy. Mommy says it's really scary how tall I am now. I'm working really hard at opening doors. So I finally took the coat off, but I wanted to keep wearing the scarf - so I did wear it all day long. So Mommy and her friend Krista both had their doctor's appointments this week for the babies in their tummies. Krista let me come hang out with her and Riley while Mommy went to her appointment, and the day before, Riley came to my house. We had lots of fun together. Riley liked playing with my Wiggles guitar. She couldn't figure out how to get the music to come on, so I helped her out. We played with magnets for a while...

...and then Riley got silly with a flip flop magnet and pretended it was a phone! That girl is funny!Riley also liked my playhouse. I decided to put ALL of my stuffed animals in there with her. My latest favorite thing? ACORNS!!! My Nana and Pops have got me hooked on collecting acorns and I like to put them in my wagon and take them on rides. Mommy says she likes to read the "Emma-isms" that Emma's Mommy puts on her blog. So she's going to take over now and share some "Kinsey-isms".

Hi everyone - "Mommy" here, or at least I am most of the time. Lately Kinsey has learned that we have names besides Mommy and Daddy. Her new funny sentence that she walks around the house saying is "Daddy's name Douglas". She thinks it's really funny that we have names. She likes saying the word "Douglas". And she'll say "Darin" at random times. Another funny: we were sitting having lunch with the windows open this week and the workmen across the street were whistling. So she stopped eating and said "birdie singing?" CC and Obi gave her a yellow Care Bear that sings songs. The bear says "Hi, my name is Funshine Bear, what's your name?" and she gets so excited and says "KINSEY!". One of the songs is "If You're Happy and You Know It" and she LOVES singing it. That song in particular, she calls the "Happy Nose" song - ha!
