Whew! I'm finally 7 months old! I am so glad to be out of the "6's"!! I can do so much more now! I can eat a bunch of yummy foods - my favorite is breakfast when I get applesauce and oatmeal. I'm still really into Sweet Potatoes, but now eating Peas and Beans and Zucchini and Squash is a breeze, too. Still not sure what Mommy was thinking when she gave me avocado - here's what I think about that food:
Mango wasn't much better, but now she puts a whole lot of rice in it and I really like it.
So there is this REALLY cute baby living in my house - she isn't there all the time, but Mommy and Daddy have been showing her to me a lot more lately and I just laugh at her all the time!!! My Grammy brought me this cool book and she's likes to play in there too!!! Here's a pic of her - I had Mommy snap it before she could move:
Did you see her? She is so cute and she has the same pacifiers as me and she dresses like me, too!!!
Also, I've completely mastered sitting now. I can lean all around and pick up toys and pull myself back up by myself. And I'm moving on to standing - I just need a little help balancing and getting to the standing position, but I've been building up my quads and now I am a really good stander!
Mommy and Daddy are really impressed with my other new trick. I can pick up my pacifier all by myself and put it in my mouth - that's super cool at naptime because I get to have one in my mouth and a bunch of other ones in my crib. That way if I wake up during the night, I can pick any of them up and stick them in :-)
So I get to take big girl baths now - apparently I was soaking whoever was bathing me at the kitchen sink, so now my bathtub goes in the big tubs and I can splash around like crazy! It's so fun! And sometimes Mommy lets me take a bath in her big tub with her and we play and splash a lot. It's so fun! Here's Nana giving me a bath last week:

Hmmm - what else?? Well, I've really been working on my sense of humor. I like to look at Mommy in the kitchen and wait for her to see me and then laugh really hard. Then I turn around for a few seconds and play and then I slowly look around again at her and laugh really hard. I am SO funny.
Daddy is still trying to get me to crawl but I'm making him really work for it. I'm still open to the idea of crawling, but right now it's just so much easier to just have Mommy and Daddy hand me toys :-). But I try for him a little every day - right now I usually just roll around the room until I get to whatever I want to play with. Here's Daddy working with me on the crawling.

I'm talking a lot more now - really excercising my vocal chords - especially when Mommy is on the phone, after my bottle, and during important parts of stuff Daddy is watching on tv. For some reason, my parents have turned into these babbling goobers - they keep looking at me and saying "ma-ma ma-ma" and "da-da da-da" - what language is that??? Right now i'm really enjoying saying ga-ga-ga-ga and making funny words while I play with the paci in my mouth.
I weigh 20 pounds now - Mommy wanted to show you me in the swing this month and then a pic of me in the swing when I was just a few days old. Apparently I've grown a bit because now they really strap me in when I get in my swing.

Oh yea - the other cool thing is that I guess I'm starting to grow some hair. One day Mommy handed me a brush and said it was about time to start brushing my hair. I thought she was nuts - I reached back and grabbed some super short hairs and gave her a "this hair?" look:
But then she convinced me it was getting a little bushy on top so I let her brush it a little. And now I'm figuring out that the brush is way cool to play with. It feels funny on my fingers and I also like to use it as a microphone.

by the way - those way cute pajamas are a hand-me-down from my big girl friend Emma who has the cutest clothes and is really nice to share them with me.
Ok, I think that's all for now. Oh yea, there's a bunch of wet stuff falling from the sky here lately. Mommy calls it "rain" - it's pretty fun to nap to. Catch you guys later!
p.s. My cool cousin Hailey had this same Lilypie thing (at the top of the page) on her blog that tracks her age so I asked Daddy to put one on my blog, too. Thanks Hailey - great idea!

Then Friday night we went to Pops and Nana's house and hung out with them. I am really getting into this swing thing. I like to feel the breeze in my face.

Pops took me on a couple of really cool walks on the golf course and I saw a really huge sprinkler and got to play with some acorns. He and Nana watched me the whole time to make sure I didn't eat them - geez, what do they think I am, a deer? Anyway, the acorns feel really fun in my hand and I like to bang them on my stroller tray. Mommy says I'm working on my precise finger movements - I think she's been reading too many Parenting magazines because I'm just having fun :-)

We had a great time with Nathan this weekend - here's Douglas trying to wrangle both kids at the same time.

Funny story: Kinsey was napping upstairs in her Pak 'N Play, Paula and I were downstairs washing dishes, Douglas was sleeping in and Rob was cleaning house. Nathan had been with Rob while he was cleaning, but he wandered off so Rob starts looking for him. All of a sudden, Rob comes into the kitchen and asks if we've seen Nathan. So we say no and he goes to look for him and Paula jokes that he's probably up in bed with Kinsey but then we figured no because we would've heard him on the monitor - everytime he sees her he shouts "Baby" :-). So then Rob yells down from upstairs to get the camera and come quick. Sure enough, Nathan is in the Pak 'N Play with Kinsey, laying there next to her being soooo quiet. Pretty smart kid to know that he has to be quiet so he doesn't get caught.
Anyway, we are having a great time here with the Corbellos in their new house. Nathan and Kinsey are really cute together, and Nathan is so ready to be a big brother! We're joining with the Corbellos in prayer that his new baby brother will arrive soon and come here to the States to live with them. In the meantime, he's getting good practice with Kinsey and the other babies around here.

After church, we went to the Pecan Street Festival in downtown Austin and I got to see a lot of people and hear some cool music and get some cute new clothes from craft vendors. They also took me to a place called Whole Foods Market - Mommy and Grammy got me some more fruits and veggies and I got to eat outside. It was a long day and I was really tired.
