Kinsey was pretty bummed about this turn of events. 
Never one to miss the fun, Daddy got right out in it with the kids.
Daddy got a wild hair to get in the pool. 
Unfortunately I have no pictures of what followed, but we all ended up in the pool and hot tub and it was suprisingly awesome. The pool was a really comfy temperature, and the hot tub was bliss!We came back up to the condo for a while. Douglas and Kinsey went for a DQ run and came back with blizzards - mmmmm. Tag thought so, too :). They also brought back a CVS find - a crab floatie for Tag - he was very excited.
Kinsey kicked back with a smoothie...
Later that day, we headed down to the ocean in a heavy mist. There is nothing on the feet quite like cool, slightly wet sand. It's just awesome. We thought we could stay semi-dry but the waves had other plans. 
Daddy and Kinsey did some crab stalking.
Then Kinsey and I had some fun in the waves. 
This is us doing Kinsey's newly patented "beach walk". It's a crazy leg flailing walk that is best done in the sea spray :)
That evening we had a great time. Even though it rained, we were so grateful to be at the beach and tired after a long and fun day.
