So I guess you can tell your little boy is growing up when he reaches over, pulls out a toy bin, and starts digging for something. It was so cute and such a big boy thing to do for this little guy who is really doing well sitting up now and making his own choices.
We got out some old toys and Tag is really enjoying Kinsey's old piano. Nana and Pops came over and they all decided that Tag was ready to swing in Kinsey's swing. Kinsey really enjoyed watching her brother swing, but kept saying "Pops, I think Taggart is all done." Apparently they had arranged for it to be her turn after he was done :) Tag had fun in the swing, but held on for dear life just like his sister used to.
The weather here is nuts - cold one day, warm the next. Here's Kinsey on a cold day all bundled up. She loves putting on her hat and mittens to go outside in the cold.
Big exciting times for Kinsey - she got her first official haircut last week. Our good friend Melissa came over to talk some Children's Ministry stuff with me. Melissa is an awesome stylist and has been working wonders with my hair, so I asked her to do me a big favor and cut Kinsey's bangs for me. Kinsey loved it and now has an appointment this week for her first big girl haircut at the salon.
A couple of weeks ago we went to a playplace called Jungle Java where the kids can roam around and play while Moms sit and chat. Emma and Kinsey had a blast climbing up in this tree, sliding, and managing obstacles :)
Tag had a good time at the table with me and Dionne. Kinsey got stuck in one place and needed help so I climbed through the maze and rescued her. And then the girls and I slid down the big slide.
