Well we didn't get to have an official party, but we still wanted Kinsey to get to enjoy some cake so we used Douglas' Grandmother's Carrot Cake recipe and decorated with some baby carrots. Scroll down to the bottom of this post for video links. 
So once the flames were extinguished, we had some delicate testing of the icing...
And then Daddy came in and cut out a piece for her to eat, which she again sampled delicately at first. 
And then she really started digging in and enjoying it. I guess the true sign is when it gets in the hair :)
Kinsey is usually a total health nut - her favorite food is tofu and she loves veggies, so it wasn't a big surprise when she picked up one of the carrots and started munching :).

So after getting it all over herself, we decided it was bath time - check out the new girly shower curtain her Obi & CC got her.
