Our Little Ladykiller

So this kid just gets cuter by the day. He is developing a really precious personality and he loves to give us this half smirk/grin. He's trying to communicate -making "gaaa" sounds and little sighs. Kinsey learned a song at church called King of the Jungle that requires animal sounds and he must really like it because it makes him laugh nearly every time. As you can see, he still has the crazy hair. The kid is just too cute. So to catch you all up on our weekend, we had a great event with the church called SummerFest to celebrate the end of the week of our Bible clubs. It was a community event and we had 1000 people there!! There were fun booths and food and a killer band! Kinsey got in a couple of bounce houses. Here she is with her friend Aidan. I worked the face painting booth for an hour and Jaime and Alex came to hang out with Kinsey. Jaime painted some amazing art on her arms. You can't really see the Nemo on the left arm, but check out this flower! Then it was time to dance to the music. Did I mention there was a great band? The guitar player/lead singer was really hot :)They played great songs from the 60s through today, all genres, even some Eagles and Don Henley :). Here's Kinsey and her friend Ava "dancing" to the music. They had a blast running around. Kinsey loved getting to hear Daddy sing.Then on Sunday night we went over to our friends the McBride's house so Kinsey could play with Jacob and Emma. They have a slip and slide and the girls had a great time getting thrown by Dionne and Douglas. Here she is watching the big kids throw themselves down the slide. And then she had to come over and check on her baby brother.Tag of course had a blast :)The cool breeze put him right to sleep :)

Then we went inside for some brownies and Kinsey got to experience the joy of licking the spatula.
