Hi everyone!!! Happy Halloween! Sorry this is late but this dumb blog wouldn't let me upload pics for a long time. As you can see, Kinsey was Princess Leia for her first Halloween.
Our good friends the Pomroys loaned us Emery's costume from last year. Kinsey made a fantastic Leia and didn't even fuss about the hat! We went out to some friends house from church and served hot dogs to trick-or-treaters while their neighbor's band played great music. What a fun night! Unfortunately I forgot the camera so you'll just have to take my word for it that there were a ton of cute kiddos and costumes.
Last weekend we went to Jasper to visit with Grammy and Poppi. We had a really great time and Kinsey loved getting to go on nature walks, watch the creek and waterfall and especially play with the barky German Shepherd, Tasha. Here's Kinsey with her Secret Service detail getting ready to go for a hike.
And just down from the house at a bend in the creek, there's a beautiful waterfall (which is more like a speedbump with the creek so high right now) and there's a great swing where we relaxed and let Kinsey absorb nature. Here are some shots of us at the swing and down around the waterfall.

And of course we had to take a few festive Halloween shots of her and Tasha with some pumpkins
...And here are Kinsey and Tasha making the exact same "I'm so sick of pictures" face...
Poppi's hammock overlooks a duck pond - here are Kinsey and Daddy relaxing in the hammock waiting for the ducks.
It was a really great weekend with lots of new experiences for our little punkin. I'm going to post some more pictures separately - sorry I couldn't get them all on one post :-).
In other news, Sunday night was our first Vision meeting for HCBC Round Rock North (http://www.hcbcrrn.com/). It was awesome to see so many folks turn out (over 100!) and we got a lot of great information from Keith. We are praying that God will confirm to each family there and others who are still deciding, if they should join us. Our next prayer walk is Saturday 11/18. Please join us in praying for families in the area of the plant that we might reach with the message and love of Jesus. We are so excited and can't wait for August 2007!!! Have a great week everyone!
