We took the kids to Krispy Kreme - shockingly they loved it!

I believe in previous posts I've mentioned Tag's talent for climbing. Douglas captured this lovely moment a couple of weeks ago...

Kinsey is turning into such a little lady - even more than her Mommy most days! She likes to "get ready" with me and curl her eyelashes, put on makeup, fix her hair...the works! Here she is at my counter doing her routine...

Last month we participated in a summer program with our church called Rock the Rock (since we live in Round Rock - cute huh?) where we went to local parks and brought teenagers, music, food, and crafts stuff and did a ministry to a particular neighborhood every day for a week. It was really fun and really awesome to be able to share Jesus with people, and to do really practical things for them like provide food and entertain their kids! Daddy stopped by a couple of times and Kinsey was so excited to show him the dance moves that the teenagers taught her!

Here's Kinsey with Ashley and baby Payton...

Dancing to "O Happy Day!"

It was like one thousand degrees at the noon club.

Here we are with the preschoolers doing some craft stuff.

For Douglas' birthday, I had a friend of my cousin's make him a cool metal sculpture/sign for his office. It's about 4 feet wide and maybe 18-20 inches tall. It turned out really cool, but I had to hide it on the bed instead of wrapping it. Here it is...

For Douglas' birthday we went to Pappasitos with the Kedroskis. Here's Tag with his dinner. This is probably the last true restaurant we will take him to for a very long time. I don't want to bash on my own kid, but he was some kind of insane that night.

The kids got some balloon animals, which was a huge hit.

And Tag got a bracelet balloon- I think it lasted 5 minutes and then he bit it and had sharpie marker lipstick.

Kinsey helped me make and decorate Daddy's cake. I handed her the letters to put on it. The control freak in me is learning to love the uneven spacing and lines that a 3 year old creates :)

Tag really enjoyed the cake, too.

One of my favorite things in the car...

Tag gets fussy sometimes and all of the sudden he'll just stop crying and I'll glance back and sure enough, big sister is holding his hand. She'll say "Oh Mom, he just wanted me." If my heart suddenly stops beating someday, it'll likely be because of these two and their sweetness.
So a couple of weeks ago, Douglas texts me and says that he's thinking of taking Kinsey to Dora LIVE that evening. It was a completely last minute and completely AWESOME decision. She really didn't know what to expect but she was super excited. Here they are before the show...

Note the raincoat. It actually rained that day and Kinsey decided that she HAD to wear the raincoat.

Once they were at the show, I was so glad that Douglas had an iPhone because he sent me cute pics like this...

Of course with Daddy as her date, Kinsey was bound to come home with a souvenir - cute shirt to commemorate the event!!

They had a blast at the show and Kinsey can't wait to go back to the theater - she's hoping Backyardigans come to town soon!
Let's end with a cute slideshow...When Obi & CC were here, there was a Disney store trip and a purchase of a seriously princess-y gown. Commence to Twirling:
