First, some gratuitously precious shots of our little boy from the last week...
So we have never had professional pictures taken of Kinsey, and now that she has a baby brother, on the recommendation of my good friend Barie, we decided to go to Portrait Innovations and get pics made of Kinsey and Taggart. WOW! It was actually a great experience, great price, and they gave us digital copies of everything so I'm so happy to share them with you. It was such a fun time, Kinsey really got into it and enjoyed grabbing props and helping the lady pull the backdrops down. She was so patient and posed for us over and over again.
Here are the brother and sister together...
And our precious girl in her frog outfit...
This one is for my friends who tease me about my dislike of nekkid baby pictures - he really does have a diaper on, I promise!
And here are some of Kinsey's beach photos - these were the "drums" the lady told her to play...
...and then she got a big kick out of being able to sit on the drums, too.
Here's Tag in his frog outfit...

...and a couple of the two of them together...
Kinsey loved this little red rocking chair...
...and she liked posing in her stylish new outfit from CC
There are literally over 80 other pictures, but I figure you and I both don't have the time to surf through all of them :).So CC was here as you know and she bought Kinsey some fun prizes. First, a bathing suit with her favoritest friend...
...and also a super fun patio set. Kinsey loves ocean creatures and this one has an octopus, sea horses, and dolphins.
She was so excited to put it in the driveway. She said "this is a party table, we need to have a birthday party with birthday cake." Well, luckily one of our friends from church had brought us dinner and dessert was chocolate eclairs! Kinsey and CC had fun with their "birthday cake" at their table.
Speaking of dinners from friends at church, we have been beyond-blessed by everyone helping us out while we recovered from our surgeries. BUT I think we've been helped too long. This week, every time I told Kinsey it was dinnertime, she would ask "Who brought it to us today?" The kid misses nothing! Last night I told her that no one brought dinner, Daddy made spaghetti here at the house and she just looked at me like we were crazy for cooking our own food!
CC had to leave to go back home on Friday, but Uncle Robert came to visit for the weekend, so we still had plenty of family around. He and Kinsey had a great time, and he and Tag hit it off great.
Robert has a camera on his laptop, so these shots are from his computer - too cool!!

We had a great few weeks with family here - it's slowed down now that everyone is gone and the three of us are enjoying our time together. Douglas is doing much better from his surgery, but is still not able to eat much and can't talk loudly or for prolonged periods. He has a re-discovered love for snow cones and can't wait to enjoy a Chipotle burrito soon!
God bless you all - have a great week!!!
